You lock your car, house and business and install alarms that police are trained to respond to in case of security violations on your house or business that alarm companies monitor and telephone police to respond to, but your computer communications have been UNLOCKED since 1980s and it is shameful that government wants to have a master key to anyone's computer communications who even attempts to secure their computer communications over public networks from private or government spying eyes... This is absurd, in the tangible real-world the private/government eyes do not have master keys to your car, house or business... why would they want to have/ask-for a master key to your computer communications? Granted since the invention of telephones the private/government spying eyes have carefully monitored virtually everything communicated without much hindrance to their activities, except for the LAW that hardly stops any private/government spying eyes from looking/listening in on whomever/whatever they want because they can write another LAW allowing themselves exemptions from the first LAW... In case of secure computer communications it is not that simple, once computer communications are secured and carefully administered then it take a cryptanalyst and ESP spy teams to decrypt in a timely fashion the wonderful world of secure computer communications, but that secure world of computer communications is about to be outlawed and equated to terrorists, international spies, pornographers, money launderers, bankers, criminals at large... so in essence the private/government spying eyes want is a status quo continuation of the open telephone/FAX communications which are absolutely easy to intercept without need of cryptanalyst's involvement to apply to the wonderful world of secure computer communications, to me this is nothing more than an official admission of the status quo operating since the invention of telephones and public mail service that the private/government spying eyes have ALWAYS analyzed everyone's communications without exemptions or regard to any public LAW which they overruled privately with not so public laws that gave themselves exemptions from following the law... (messages carried by pigeons were/are secure mail)
One can encrypt data on small disks and homing pigeons can fly them point to point, or caried by radio controlled model airplanes via two or more radio controllers...
